How to Clean Your Pearls

I’m often asked how pearls should be cleaned so as not to affect their natural lustre. Here are the simple instructions:

Simply wipe them gently using a soft, clean cloth dampened with warm water.  If you wish you can add a drop of white spirit in with the warm water, nothing else!  Never use any soap, jewellery cleaning products, or brushes, as they will damage your pearls. 

Always clean your jewels with a soft cloth each time you wear them and keep your pearls separate from your metal jewellery, preferably in their own soft jewellery pouch and they will give you years of joy when you wear them.  The natural lustre of pearls will always enhance your beauty!
